We are looking for cooperation!
By working together and utilizing distinct expertise, novel ideas may rapidly emerge that would have otherwise not become apparent by individuals or small groups. Furthermore, to efficiently problem-solve, collaborative projects can strive to be more ambitious due more areas of expertise and better coverage of fieldwork efforts. There are many ways to contribute productively on large-scale projects, such as data coding, data collection in the field, analysis, writing, conceptualization, design, coordination, etc. In such projects, all contributions are essential and valued, meaning that many areas and levels of expertise can contribute productively together: from senior expert to citizen scientist. Together we can achieve big things in shorebirds science and conservation.
We look forward working with shorebird enthusiasts from all over the world. This may include scientists, conservationists, PostDocs, PhD students, MSc students, interns and volunteers.
