Jonathan Cohen is an associate professor of wildlife ecology and management at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in New York. Following a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech on the breeding ecology of Piping Plovers in New York, Jonathan did post-doc work on Red Knots and Piping Plovers. His lab focuses on factors limiting wildlife populations, from popular game birds and mammals to endangered species. He hasconducted several recent projects with his graduate students on the conservation of waders, including the Piping Plover and Snowy Plover.
