Triin is a PhD student at the University of Tartu, interested in breeding waders in semi-natural habitats. The aim of her current project is to comprehend the issue of predation pressure, look at possible solutions and mediate between the research and conservation practitioners in western Estonia.

Additionally, she acts as a conference coordinator of the International Wader Study Group and is part of the Batumi Raptor Count team.
